Who we are

Herbal Symphony was founded in 2009 by a couple in search of both excitement and meaning, with a zeal for life.

Joy Durbin, CEO & Owner, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Family Herbalist certificate. Her interests include gardening, cooking, and ceramics, to name a few.

Corey Sukalich, President, holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, with a specilization in Wireless. Corey also has Family Herbalist & Nutritional Herbologist certificates, from Dr. Christopher's Schol of Natural Healing. He is also a licensed radio amateur, callsign N9WIV. Corey is a licensed Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Technician and Notary Public in the State of Wisconsin. Interests are too numerous to list, but include music, ceramics, and repairing just about everything.

Herbal Symphony was founded to create herbal products that greatly exceed the quality, potency, and integrity of what is commonly available on the market. In addition, these products are also to have a solid foundation in science, to avoid fad marketing, and to be a good value for your hard-earned money.

We take pride in knowing that the same items we use for nutrition and health are the ones that we share with our customers. We are constantly formulating new spice blends, ointments, tinctures, and more to answer requests from our valued customers

You may not have heard of us before, but We have worked with some large names in the industry to bring them ingredients that cannot be found elsewhere. We pride ourselves on offering unique items that distinguish us from others in the marketplace.

Why we do it

A passion for natural healing was born when Corey's grandfather, Paul, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. A passion for research resulted in the use of herbs, which aided in greatly slowing the progression of symptoms and thus improving quality of life, even to the very end.

This same mentality then began to see application for other family members and friends, resulting in many blessings. Our desire is to share what we know, and continue to discover with anyone willing to learn how to help themselves and those they care about.

Add a passion for world foods and ethnic cooking that dates back over a decade and it became natural to sell spices that we already sourced for personal use. Many of our blend recipes have been authentically crafted from scratch to be truly representative of their heritage and it shows in the flavors they produce.
